In the Middle of Becoming<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It has been a whirlwind of weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three events. Three different roles. One version of me that kept evolving in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PrintCon<\/strong>, I stood on stage as a panelist, sharing insights shaped by years of experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At OffCon<\/strong>, I sat quietly in the crowd, listening, learning, and reflecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PGDX<\/strong>, I walked the floor as a media partner, documenting stories, conversations, and an entire ecosystem bigger than myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And through all of this, I was carrying life within me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping Into Different Roles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To be honest it’s quite hard for me to start this reflection without sounding arrogant. I feel like I’ve been lucky so I am very grateful that life has been treating me kindly recently. It’s been a whirlwind of events and I have been experiencing a lot of point of views. Learning more and growing more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PrintCon, there was a moment where it truly felt like our time to shine. We shared perspectives on design, collaboration, and the evolving role of creatives in a world shaped by AI. I spoke about empathy and how our ability to understand people, culture, and context is something technology cannot replicate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, just days later, I found myself at OffCon, back in a seat, listening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No microphone. No panel. Just presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it did not feel like stepping down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It felt like expanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because growth is not about staying in one role. It is about knowing when to lead, when to listen, and when to return to curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PGDX it was opening conversations with intention. Learning from others and listening then documenting what I learned to then share with people who will resonate with the experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staying Human in a Changing World<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Across all three spaces, one message kept repeating itself in different forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI is here. Technology is evolving. The way we work is changing faster than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the real shift is not about replacement. It is about transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasks will change. Tools will improve. Systems will become more efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the advantage remains deeply human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PrintCon, we talked about empathy and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At OffCon, we heard that the real edge is not just skill, but caring deeply about what you do, understanding people, and building relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PGDX, in a space filled with innovation, data, and global collaboration, everything still pointed back to community, creativity, and shared experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more the world accelerates, the more valuable it becomes to slow down and understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create with intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

When Life and Work Grow Together<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There was a moment during OffCon that stayed with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A speaker shared that she had been freelancing for 15 years. Her marker was simple. Her child is now 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I paused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time, I was 35 weeks pregnant, sitting in the audience, taking it all in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And something clicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The life I am building and the work I am doing are not separate paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They move together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few weeks later, at 37 weeks, I attended PGDX as a media partner. Two full days of walking, observing, documenting, and engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not because it was easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But because it mattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because this I’d like to believe that this season of my life is not a pause. It is a continuation, just in a different form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often think we need to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wait for the right time.
Wait for things to settle.
Wait until we are less busy, less tired, more ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if growth does not wait for perfect conditions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if it happens right in the middle of everything?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m really lucky to have a supportive partner. He is there to accompany me to these events and even help me document it all through photography and videography so I can be fully present and immersed in these moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

A Different Kind of Return<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, each event gave me something different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PrintCon reminded me of the value of perspective and shared knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OffCon grounded me in the reality that the world is shifting and that we have to shift with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGDX showed me how far both an industry and a person can grow over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From attendee, to participant, to observer, to storyteller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in between all of that, I realized something simple but powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You do not have to stay in one version of yourself to keep growing. Although many times I realized how hard it is to be fluid in this world where I’ve been hearing a lot about specializing and niching down it has always been my biggest challenge but instead of fighting it I have done my best to go with the flow. It is still hard for me to describe what I do, even in PGDX it was a conversation I had. I can’t personally define yet what exactly it is I do, but I’m happy to share that I have a voice and a point of view in various things because of how I look at things in a zoomed out version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Season of Becoming<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This season has asked more from me but has also provided for more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More energy. More presence. More intention. Also more gifts and reminders of what matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarity. Perspective. Gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growth is not about doing everything perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is about showing up again and again in whatever role the moment requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot of times life itself is us to grow in more ways than one. It may not be easy but what I can say is that we really have to try hard and do our best.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
